The premiere of “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency” is finally almost here!

JTBC’s new Monday-Tuesday drama is about a blacksmith-turned-king who recruits Joseon’s top dating agency Flower Crew in order to protect his first love. Upon his request, the matchmakers of the agency risk their lives to transform a lowly woman into an unrecognizable, refined, noble lady.

Here are three points picked out by the main cast of Kim Min Jae, Gong Seung Yeon, Seo Ji Hoon, Park Ji Hoon, Byun Woo Seok, and Go Won Hee, to keep an eye out for in the upcoming premiere of “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency”!

1. Flower Crew’s difficult marriage project

Kim Min Jae and Gong Seung Yeon highlighted the project involving Flower Crew’s matchmakers and the lowly woman. Even after rising to the coveted position of king, Lee Soo (Seo Ji Hoon) cannot forget his first love Gae Ddong (Gong Seung Yeon), putting the matchmakers up to the test to demonstrate their finest skills. However, the crew fall into trouble with their work not being meant for men of the Joseon Dynasty and the difficulty of successfully pairing a king with a regular woman.

2. The background stories and relationships of the charming characters

Seo Ji Hoon, Park Ji Hoon, and Byun Woo Seok shared their anticipation for the focus on “each character’s individual charm, their own stories, and the relationships between them.” Kim Min Jae plays Joseon’s finest male Ma Hoon, while Gong Seung Yeon as Gae Ddong is manlier than your average man. Lee Soo is a hopeless king, risking everything for his first love, while Park Ji Hoon’s character Go Young Soo is an image consultant. Byun Woo Seok plays the all-knowledgable Do Joon, and Kang Ji Hwa played by Go Won Hee aspires to be Joseon’s top lady. With each character’s undeniable individuality, stay tuned to find out how all these big personalities clash and combine with one another!

3. Endless entertainment — there isn’t a moment you’ll be bored!

“Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency” was refreshing from the start with their concept of male matchmakers, previewing the fusion, rom-com, historical drama. To further explain, Go Won Hee shared, “There are a lot of things to see that can be lightly enjoyed. With the introduction of many characters, there will be no chance of boredom with the new storylines that unfold each episode.” The drama will depict not only the passionate and soft side of youth, but simultaneously the little things that create their small yet meaningful laughter.

“Flower Crew: Joseon’s Marriage Agency” premieres on September 16 at 9:30 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.
