The “Running Man” cast members finally brought their fan meeting to a close!

During the September 22 broadcast of the SBS variety show, the cast members continued to showcase elaborate performances for their ninth-anniversary fan meeting. In true “Running Man” fashion, the cast members were also given a mission to identify the “Fan Meeting Spy” by the end of the event.

Song Ji Hyo and Yang Se Chan first joined Nucksal and Code Kunst to put on an exciting rap performance of a song titled “Bonjour High.” Yang Se Chan impressed with his rapping skills, and Song Ji Hyo touched fans’ hearts with her emotional lyrics. Fans began to scream even louder when the “Queen of Hip Hop” Yoon Mi Rae appeared as a guest singer. Because they were able to receive a cheer of over 120 decibels, they received a spy hint that read, “The spy had a lucky day today.”

Afterwards, Yoo Jae Suk and Jun So Min teamed up with the band Soran to perform “Come Out Now, Confession,” a song about confessions. Before the performance began, Yoo Jae Suk jokingly expressed his concerns about the lyrics, saying, “The lyrics are scary. It contains stories about So Min’s dating life. Instead of enjoying the song, it feels like we’re sending a message to someone for So Min.” So Min showed her determination as she remarked, “I’m going to make sure this song plays on all the streets so that man can’t help but confess to me.”

Thanks to their thrilling performance, the Yoo Jae Suk-Jun So Min team had the audience cheering at a level surpassing 133 decimals. When the pair finally made their way backstage, they received a hint that said, “The spy has been with ‘Running Man’ for nine years.”

Later, Hong Jin Young surprised the audience when she appeared as a surprise guest. As a long time “Running Man” guest, she was completely at ease as she performed her track.

The final collaboration performance was staged by the Kim Jong Kook, HaHa, and Gummy team. They performed “Raise Your Voice,” and although HaHa was nervous about having to sing a ballad for the first time, his soulful voice, along with Gummy and Kim Jong Kook’s impressive performance, helped them receive another hint about the spy.

The highlight of the fan meeting was the members’ dance performance. Prior to holding the fan meeting, the cast had approached choreographer Lia Kim of 1MILLION Dance Studio to work on their dance skills and learn an original choreography. The cast members worked hard as a group and individually to practice the choreography for a duration of three months, and on the day of the fan meeting, they were able to perfectly showcase their dance skills and individual talents.

The eight members later stood on stage again to greet the audience members one last time. Ji Suk Jin commented, “I can tell you I’m not a very emotional person, but after [hearing] your applause after the dance, there was something hot that rose within me. It’s been a while since I felt that way, and it was thanks to you. Thank you. I haven’t felt this kind of emotion in 20 years.” Song Ji Hyo also became emotional after hearing the fans’ shouts of joy, and she shed a few tears as she said, “Thank you.”

Lee Kwang Soo remarked, “We worked hard and tried our best while preparing [for the fan meeting] these past three to four months. Just as we were happy, I hope you’ll keep this memory for a long time.” Yoo Jae Suk added, “Thank you, and we won’t forget this.”

Finally, the cast members sat down to reveal “I Like You,” the “Running Man” theme song they had prepared for the fan meeting.
