Watch: HyunA Launches New YouTube Channel + Chooses Channel Name And Concept

HyunA is now on YouTube!

On September 22, the singer uploaded her first video titled “HyunA-ing Prologue.”

In the clip, HyunA discusses the direction of her channel with a staff member of P Nation. She reveals, “I want to show a side of myself that I couldn’t capture through my album.” After HyunA states that she spends most of her time in the studio, the video suddenly flashes to clips of the star having a good time with her friends and boyfriend Hyojong.

She later admits that she would like her channel to have an vintage and retro feeling, and she also chooses the font for her video. When she expresses her desire to upload videos on Sundays or Mondays to cure the “Monday Illness,” the staff asks, “Won’t you get tired?” She confidently replies, “Nope. If we couldn’t film anything, we’ll just go with the flow.”

After playing with her dog So Geum, HyunA finally thinks of a name for her channel. Another staff member points out that even Hyojong wasn’t a fan of the options she had picked out, so she takes to Instagram to ask fans for their suggestions. After a fan chooses “HyunA-ing,” the video ends with a logo featuring the same name.
