BTS WORLD Reportedly Working On Animated Edition To Prepare For BTS's Military Enlistment

A special animated edition of BTS WORLD is reportedly in the works.

On September 23, game industry representatives reported that Netmarble started production in July for an animated version of BTS WORLD based on actual videos of BTS members.

The animated videos are reportedly being produced because it will not be possible to film new content while the BTS members are serving in the military.

Herald Business reported, “The special edition will be serviced for the five years during which the BTS members will be enlisting in the military. However, the exact launch date will be confirmed depending on the timing of the BTS members’ enlistment.”

In response to the reports, Netmarble commented that they cannot give an official response.

BTS WORLD is an interactive game that has story-based simulations allowing players to view exclusive new photos and video clips as they virtually interact with the members. Following its launch in June, it topped App Store charts in 33 countries around the world.
