"Extraordinary You" Starring SF9's Rowoon And Kim Hye Yoon Reveals Inner Workings Of School Romance With Character Relationship Chart

MBC’s upcoming drama “Extraordinary You” has unveiled a relationship chart that teases the complicated ties between the main characters!

Based on a fantasy romance webtoon, “Extraordinary You” tells the story of a high school student named Eun Dan Oh (played by Kim Hye Yoon), who comes to the shocking realization that she is actually a character in a manhwa (Korean comic). Eun Dan Oh subsequently attempts to defy her predetermined fate by rewriting her own story.

The new image lays out the relationships between each of the characters in “Secret,” the manhwa that they are all a part of. Eun Dan Oh is the only daughter of a well-off family, and she is shown to be harboring a 10-year-long crush on Baek Kyung (played by Lee Jae Wook), who is the son of her father’s business partner and one of the top three students — called the A3 — at their school. However, Eun Dan Oh then falls in love with an unassuming extra, No. 13 (played by SF9’s Rowoon), who later takes the name Ha Roo.

Meanwhile, the two other members of A3, Oh Nam Joo (played by Kim Young Dae) and Lee Do Hwa (played by Jung Gun Joo), are rivals in a love triangle with Yeo Joo Da (played by APRIL‘s Naeun). From the chart, we see that Yeo Joo Da is being bullied by Oh Nam Joo’s fanclub, which is one of several character subgroups at the school. Finally, the chart shows Jin Mi Jae (played by Lee Tae Ri), a mysterious figure that doesn’t seem to be related to anyone. Viewers will have to watch to see how each of these relationships play out in the drama.

“Extraordinary You” premieres October 2 at 8:55 p.m. KST, following the conclusion of MBC’s “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung.” Check out the latest teaser here!
