Kang Ha Neul Is The Man Gong Hyo Jin Has Been Waiting For In "When The Camellia Blooms"

Kang Ha Neul and Gong Hyo Jin will share a significant moment together in the upcoming episode of KBS 2TV’s “When the Camellia Blooms.”

“When the Camellia Blooms” tells the stories of three couples in different stages of love. The drama will focus on the romance that blossoms between Dong Baek (Gong Hyo Jin), a woman who is trapped in a certain perception about love, and Yong Shik (Kang Ha Neul), who shows undying support and love for her.

In the newly revealed stills, Dong Baek covers her face as she bursts into tears, and Yong Shik watches her with undecipherable eyes.

Dong Baek had been alone until she met Yong Shik, a straightforward man whose actions precede his thoughts. He promised to be on her side, saying, “I can openly be on [you] and Pil Goo’s (her child’s) side, right?” However, Dong Baek was concerned about the neighbors gossiping about Yong Shik dating a single mom and did everything she could to push Yong Shik away. Despite the negativity surrounding them, Yong Shik’s love did not waver. He gave her words of encouragement and accepted her for who she is without any preconceptions.

The drama’s producers shared, “Tonight (September 26), Yong Shik will break Dong Baek away from her preconceptions by officially beginning his wholehearted support for her. Please join us in seeing how Yong Shik gives warm support to Dong Baek, who has desperately been waiting for someone to be on her side.”

Episodes 7 and 8 of “When the Camellia Blooms” airs on September 26 at 10 p.m. KST.

Meanwhile, the drama’s most recent broadcast hit double digits in viewership ratings.
