Randall Park Shares His Love For BTS, Explains Why He Cried At Their Concert

Randall Park talked about his love for BTS!

On the September 26 episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” guest hosts Beth Behrs and Whitney Cummings asked Randall Park about being a fan of BTS. He explained that he went to see one of their “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” stadium tour concerts at the Rose Bowl in California, and the show shared a photo of him in the audience with tears on his face.

“I was super moved by them!” he said. “I was not a fan going in to that show, my wife was a huge fan. And I get there, the Rose Bowl—90,000 people packed, all different races, all different ages, singing along to these Korean musicians and dancers, and it was just really like, ‘Oh my gosh.’ As a kid, I could never have imagined something like that happening.” He said with a laugh, “I cried.”

Randall Park also showed a picture of himself with his set of BTS’s Mattel dolls, and he clarified that they belong to him and not his daughter or wife. “They’re on a shelf in our living room,” he said. When the hosts pointed out that means everyone can see them, he said, “I’m not ashamed! I love them.”

Randall Park is a Korean-American actor and comedian who is best known for his roles in works such as the TV show “Fresh off the Boat” and the film “The Interview.”
