Watch: NCT's Jaehyun Sings Beautiful Cover Of "A Whole New World" + Wrestles Min Kyung Hoon On "Ask Us Anything"

NCT’s Jaehyun showed off his vocal skills and athletic prowess on “Ask Us Anything”!

On the September 28 episode of the JTBC variety program, celebrities faced off in an athletic competition for the show’s “autumn sports day.”

Super Junior’s Kim Heechul introduced Jaehyun by saying, “Our Jaehyun is going to melt the hearts of both women and men with his voice.” Jaehyun told the other participants, “I’ll begin by introducing myself. I’m NCT’s Jaehyun, and to show you that I can win [today’s competition] no matter what, I’ll sing a song.”

He then stepped out in front of everyone and sang the iconic song “A Whole New World,” from the soundtrack of Disney’s “Aladdin.”

Later on in the episode, Jaehyun went head-to-head in a ssireum (Korean wrestling) match against Min Kyung Hoon. After bowing to the audience and each other, the two became locked in a tense battle as their teammates shouted cheers and advice from the sidelines.

After many attempts, it appeared as though Min Kyung Hoon had finally succeeded at flipping over Jaehyun, but the referee announced that it was actually the NCT member who had won the match. It turned out that during the flip, Jaehyun had used an advanced technique to maintain his balance, which caused Min Kyung Hoon’s knee to touch the ground first.

The commentators remarked, “This was such a great match! I want to applaud them. I want to give him more than 10 points on a scale of 1 to 10.”
