BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love” Sets Record For Fastest K-Pop Group MV To Hit 600 Million Views

BLACKPINK has made YouTube history once again!

On September 29 at approximately 5:28 a.m. KST, BLACKPINK’s music video for “Kill This Love” surpassed 600 million views on YouTube, making it the fastest K-pop group video ever to achieve the feat.

BLACKPINK originally released the music video for “Kill This Love” on April 5 at midnight KST, meaning that it took the song just over five months, 24 days, and five hours to reach the milestone.

BLACKPINK previously hit the 600 million mark with their music videos for “DDU-DU DDU-DU” (the previous record-holder for the fastest K-pop group music video to achieve the feat), “BOOMBAYAH” (the first K-pop debut music video in history to reach 600 million views), and, most recently, “As If It’s Your Last.”

Congratulations to BLACKPINK on their impressive achievement!
