Kang Sung Hoon Responds To Suspicions Of Him Selling Fan Gifts
Former SECHSKIES member Kang Sung Hoon has addressed rumors that he allegedly put fan gifts on sale.
On October 1, Kang Sung Hoon spoke with outlet Star News about recent allegations. He said he had also been surprised to find out about this through the news a few days ago, and he expressed his apologies to his fans.
Recently, rumors have been spreading online that Kang Sung Hoon is selling designer goods given to him by fans via secondhand sales sites. The speculations were intensified because it was revealed that a person who had posted the goods had the same phone number as stylist “A,” who has been known as the girlfriend of Kang Sung Hoon.
Kang Sung Hoon has now responded to say, “I’ve never sold fan gifts.” He clarified that his relationship with stylist A has come to an end. He stated, “A few months ago, my relationship ended with the person who was my former fan club moderator and stylist ended, including everything from our business relationship to receiving help from her personally.”
He explained that as part of her work as his stylist, A had stored and managed all of his clothing, accessories, shoes, etc. This latest issue arose because fans’ gifts for him had been mixed up with the rest of his belongings.
“As we ended our relationship, I received the items back that I needed among the things that I had given to her to store in order for convenience during work,” he said. “[A] sorted out the items that had been bought for work and the items that could not be used again as they had been revealed.” He added, “This unfortunate incident occurred during the process of her selling her things, and I found out about it through the news report.”
Kang Sung Hoon expressed that he feels greatly sorry towards his fans who have been supporting him, and he shared that he is trying to organize an opportunity for him to communicate with his fans. “It was my fault for not taking care of everything in detail,” he said. “I sincerely apologize again to the fans who have been hurt by this.”
