Watch: Gong Seung Yeon And Kim Min Jae Keep Messing Up Their "Kiss" Scene In "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency"

On October 1, JTBC released a behind-the-scenes video from the filming of the recent episodes of “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency.”

The video begins with Gong Seung Yeon and Byun Woo Seok rehearsing the scene in which Do Joon teaches Gae Ddong how to walk elegantly. Byun Woo Seok, who is a real-life model, impresses the production staff with his “catwalk.”

In another scene, Kim Min Jae teases Gong Seung Yeon by spraying her bare feet with water when she isn’t looking. However, it takes her a while to notice. When their scene begins shooting, the cinematographer’s phone goes off, ruining the take.

The highlight of the video is when Gong Seung Yeon and Kim Min Jae rehearse their “kiss” scene in the stable. Their two characters are sleeping on the straw when Gae Ddong rolls over in her sleep and accidentally locks lips with Ma Hoon.

As expected from this crazy setup, this scene turns out to be quite difficult to pull off. Gong Seung Yeon and Kim Min Jae have trouble getting the angle correct, accidentally get straw in their mouth, and in one take, the two accidentally smack their foreheads together. Even after they finally get it right, the directors debate for a while whether the scene should look more “pretty” or not, to the actors’ amused exasperation.
