Man Forwarded To Prosecution For Making Sexually Explicit Calls To Women, Including Actress
A man in his thirties has been forwarded to the prosecution on charges of sexually harassing women, including a famous actress, on the phone.
According to the police, 37-year-old [by Korean reckoning] “A” was forwarded to the prosecution by the Seoul Yongsan Police Station on October 2 for charges of obscene acts using communications media.
According to the charges, “A” is said to have called multiple women he did not know and made sexually explicit comments to them over the phone. One of the victims was actress “B,” who he called in August with a caller ID restricted number. He harassed her with comments like demanding that she engage in sexual acts with him.
The police went through communication records to identify “A” and he was arrested in Gwangju, where he lives. “A” is said to have been questioned by police and stated that he had gotten drunk and made the calls out of curiosity.
