Won Jin Ah Brings Awkward Ex-Boyfriend Encounters To The Next Level In "Melting Me Softly"

Get ready for an uncomfortable reunion on the next episode of “Melting Me Softly”!

On the first two episodes of the new tvN drama, Go Mi Ran (played by Won Jin Ah) discovered in 1999 that her boyfriend Hwang Byung Shim (played by B1A4’s Baro) was cheating on her. After a hilariously dramatic confrontation in which she gave her cheating boyfriend a bloody nose, Go Mi Ran was persuaded by the successful variety show PD (producing director) Ma Dong Chan (played by Ji Chang Wook) to participate in an experiment in which they would both be frozen for 24 hours.

However, when Go Mi Ran finally awoke, she was shocked to find that 20 years had passed, and it was now the year 2019. Although she and Ma Dong Chan remained exactly the same, everyone else she knew had aged 20 years in what seemed to her to be the blink of an eye.

On October 5, “Melting Me Softly” revealed a sneak peek of Go Mi Ran reuniting with her cheating ex from 20 years ago (now played by Shim Hyung Tak), who has since changed his name to Hwang Dong Hyuk and become a psychology professor. Although Go Mi Ran doesn’t initially recognize the older version of her ex-boyfriend, Hwang Dong Hyuk is shocked to see his former girlfriend—who has now re-enrolled at school as a student—looking not a day older than when he last saw her.

To catch the awkward reunion between the two exes, who are now a student and a professor, tune in to the third episode of “Melting Me Softly” on October 5 at 9 p.m. KST!
