Cha Tae Hyun and Lee Sun Bin have been confirmed to star in OCN’s new crime investigation drama “Further Investigation” (literal title)!
“Further Investigation” is a fun 12-episode action drama about quirky individuals with different specialties who work together to solve unsolved cases. Cha Tae Hyun will be investigator Jin Kang Ho from the serious crime squad who never gives up on a case until he gets to the end of it, while Lee Sun Bin will play main producing director (PD) Kang Moo Young of an investigative show.
The drama’s producers shared, “We believe Cha Tae Hyun and Lee Sun Bin, with their special presence and acting abilities, will portray the characters in a refreshing and multi-faceted way. Please look forward to OCN’s ‘dramatic cinema’ ‘Further Investigation,’ which will be coming to viewers in the first half of 2020 as an energetic crime investigation drama that solves frustrating unsolved cases in a satisfying way.”
“Further Investigation” is the third drama from OCN’s “dramatic cinema” project, which includes “Trap” and “Strangers from Hell.” Director Kang Hyo Jin of “The Dude in Me” and “Wonderful Nightmare” will be joining with screenwriter Lee Yoo Jin of “The Missing” to create the drama.

Lee Sun Bin and Cha Tae Hyun may be co-starring in a new drama!
On October 7, Ilgan Sports reported that Lee Sun Bin would be starring in OCN’s upcoming drama “Further Investigation” (literal title).
Soon after, a source from OCN shared to Newsen, “Lee Sun Bin is positively reviewing [the offer] to star in ‘Further Investigation.'”
“Further Investigation” is a crime action investigation drama about police investigator Jin Kang Ho from the serious crime squad who never gives up on a case until he gets to the end of it. He will solve unsolved cases with a team consisting of unique members. Cha Tae Hyun was previously revealed to be in talks for the lead role.
According to Ilgan Sports, Lee Sun Bin will take on the role of main producing director (PD) Kang Moo Young of an investigative show. Despite her gentle impression, she’s a passionate PD with a tough spirit. As long as she can unveil the truth, she’s willing to go to the lengths of an undercover mission and even illegal wiretapping. Her goal is to exceed 5 percent in viewership ratings with a program about catching criminals the police were unable to catch.
Meanwhile, Lee Sun Bin is currently starring in tvN’s “The Great Show.”
