MOMOLAND's Nancy To Star With James Reid In New Filipino Drama

MOMOLAND’s Nancy will be playing a lead character in an upcoming Filipino drama!

Recently the group expanded their activities to the Philippines by signing a co-management agreement with ABS-CBN. Following the agreement, Nancy has been confirmed to star alongside popular Filipino-Australian actor and singer James Reid in “Soulmate.” The drama will be produced by Dreamscape and directed by Antoinette Jadaone.

During a press conference, Nancy expressed her excitement, saying, “I’m very excited, and I’m also very nervous. It’s my first time coming to the Philippines and actually doing a project, so I’m actually happy. It’s totally new to me [to be] in a different country and new culture. I’ve never been in a big drama before, so I guess I could say this is the first time.”

When asked about her co-star James Reid, Nancy replied, “He’s super nice and super sweet. Awesome!” In response, James Reid said, “I have to be honest. I’m a little star-struck, of course, but I’m super excited to work with her. [The drama] is about finding your soulmate.” Nancy added, “It’s going to be a cute series.”
