ONF Members Talk About Participating In Song And Lyric Writing For New Mini Album

On the October 8 broadcast of MBC’s “Idol Radio,” Oh My Girl’s Hyojung and Seunghee, the special DJs for the day, welcomed the members of ONF as guests.

ONF recently made their comeback with their fourth mini album “Go Live,” and they talked a little bit about participating in the production of the album.

MK, who was a co-composer for the group’s title track “Why,” said, “The song is about someone who asks himself why he can’t stop liking someone even as he starts to crumble.”

Wyatt, who participated in writing the lyrics for the track, said, “The song is like a trip that you go on to find out why it hurts the more you like someone.” He revealed that he was inspired by the dramas “Search: WWW” and “Hotel Del Luna.”

On their song “Moscow Moscow,” Hyojin said, “The genre is different from anything we’ve done thus far, and it has a more classic sound. The song has a good vibe, with the low piano and the sound of a man and a woman slow dancing.”

He added, “We filmed a music video in Moscow, so it helped a lot with recording.” E-Tion said, “We received the guide for the song while in Moscow, so I listened to it while on a walk, and it left a really strong impact.”
