Cast Of “Ask Us Anything” Thanks Viewers And Staff For 200 Episodes

JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything” premiered on December 5, 2015 and will air its 200th episode on October 12.

The variety show gained love for its school format, began climbing in viewership ratings, and is still enjoying popularity amongst viewers. It has maintained an average of 5 percent in viewership ratings, and it achieved its peak ratings of 10.6 percent during its episode starring “SKY Castle” actresses Kim Seo Hyung and Oh Na Ra.

Each of the seven cast members shared their thoughts on the show’s latest milestone.

Kang Ho Dong began, “It feels like yesterday when we celebrated the 100th episode, and I can’t believe that ‘Ask Us Anything’ is already approaching 200 episodes. I’m always thankful to you for loving the random funny moments of ‘Ask Us Anything’ and hope you’ll continue to tune in. Please love the 200th special episode as well.”

“I’m just happy that we did it together for four years,” said Seo Jang Hoon. “I think that we were able to come this far thanks to the amazing staff, colleagues, and viewers. It’s an honor to be a part of a good program like this.”

Lee Sang Min stated, “Although we film every week, I always leave my house feeling like I’m heading to school. I feel so happy that familiar friends always greet me at their desks, and I’m also happy that the stories of us and the guests make viewers laugh. While we are celebrating 200 episodes, I want us to continue until 300 and 400 episodes and watch Young Chul, Heechul, and Kyung Hoon get married and smile happily. I hope that all of the members will stay healthy and that we can stay happy together forever.”

“Viewership ratings of 3 percent, 5 percent…” said Kim Young Chul. “It really feels like yesterday, but that was four years ago. It really doesn’t feel real that it’s 200 episodes. By school standards, four years would mean that we went from middle school to high school, but why do I seem like the only middle school student who didn’t move up?”

Lee Soo Geun commented, “I think that ‘Ask Us Anything’ was able to reach 200 episodes all because of the staff who work hard on set and the viewers who enjoy watching it in their living rooms. I’ll continue to work hard to make you laugh with new things in every episode, so please look forward to it.”

Min Kyung Hoon said, “I can’t believe it’s already 200 episodes. I made the decision [to appear in the show] with difficulty, but I also changed a lot through ‘Ask Us Anything.’ I think that we were able to make it to 200 episodes thanks to the viewers and staff.”

Super Junior’s Kim Heechul concluded, “‘Ask Us Anything,’ which didn’t even get 2 percent in viewership ratings at first, is at 200 episodes. I hope that everyone on ‘Ask Us Anything’ will be happy so that we can make it to 2,000 episodes.”

The 200th episode featuring Super Junior airs on October 12 at 9 p.m. KST.
