Watch: Heo Ji Woong Makes 1st Public Appearance Since Battle With Lymphoma In 'I Live Alone' Preview

Writer Heo Ji Woong is set to embark on his first official activity in eight months!

The writer announced approximately eight months ago that he would be taking a break from all official activities following a diagnosis of malignant lymphoma. In May, he announced that his chemotherapy treatment was complete and there hadn’t been any abnormalities in the following tests, and in July, he posted a video of him working out to show what he’s been doing since his treatment.

Now, the writer is set to appear on MBC’s “I Live Alone” to give viewers a more detailed look at what he’s been up to. The preview for next week’s episode began with Heo Ji Woong saying, “I’m alive.”

He then goes to show how he’s working to regain his health, saying, “I recently started doing yoga but it’s so difficult.” He also tries to keep his stress levels down but finds it hard to do so when he’s driving as a different driver changes lanes without indicating it with their blinkers. However, he has the perfect remedy for that as he watches cat videos.

At the end of the preview, Heo Ji Woong says, “An ordinary life where nothing much happens was no longer a given for me,” and “So when a day goes by, even if nothing happened, it leaves me feeling happy.”

Heo Ji Woong will appear in the upcoming episode of “I Live Alone,” which will air on October 18 at 11:10 p.m. KST.
