Updated October 16 KST:
The preliminary results have been revealed for Sulli’s autopsy.
The autopsy was held on October 16 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. KST. The Seongnam Sujeong Police Station announced afterwards, “No suspicions of homicide, such as external forces or pressure, were discovered as a result of the preliminary autopsy.”
Further details with information such as drug results have yet to be revealed, but the police plan on closing the investigation soon with no charges.
On October 15, following Sulli’s passing, a source from the Seongnam Sujeong Police Station stated, “We are planning to conduct an autopsy if [Sulli’s] family consents to it.”
Several other sources from the Seongnam Sujeong Police Station shared with Newdaily, “We have yet to receive her family’s consent, but we requested a warrant for an autopsy to figure out the exact cause of her death. Whether or not the autopsy will be conducted depends on whether or not the warrant is issued.”
The court must approve and issue the warrant for the procedures to begin.
