Watch: (G)I-DLE, AOA, And MAMAMOO Bring Down The House With Fan-Recommended Performances On "Queendom"

The girl groups of “Queendom” wowed the audience with their skills!

On the October 17 broadcast, MAMAMOO, AOA, (G)I-DLE, Lovelyz, Oh My Girl, and Park Bom prepared for the second part of the third round battle titled “Fan-dora’s Box.”

During the second round, AOA got great responses to their cover of MAMAMOO’s “Egotistic.” Jimin revealed, “After the broadcast, I was going to bed and I could hear AOA’s music in every room. My dad kept watching the clip and my mom also really liked it.” Chanmi added, “My grandmother watched ‘Queendom’ and said, ‘You work hard and I was happy that people praised you.'”

Jimin shared the list of song requests from their fans, and the members talked about various things while looking at the song titles. After their discussion, AOA cheered each other on.

At the last workshop, the contestants played a quiz where they had to guess the answer while looking at randomly mixed lyrics to various dance songs. Lovelyz was crowned as the winner and got the chance to choose the special judges for the third round battle. Lovelyz decided on members from a housewife singing class as their special judges. Seeing the women on the screen, the members commented, “It feels as if I’m seeing my mom. I miss my mom.”

The first stage of the night was by (G)I-DLE who performed a nightmare version of their track “Put It Straight.”

MAMAMOO was up next with a performance of “I Miss You” that brought back their emotions from their trainee days. Solar said, “I hope our sincerity will be communicated to our fans, and I’ll try my best so that happens.”

The third performance was by AOA, who showcased their charms while singing AOA Cream’s “I’m Jelly BABY.” The girl group concluded their performance with a rap-rock number by Jimin and N.Flying’s Lee Seung Hyub.
