Watch: Jang Dong Yoon And Kang Tae Oh Hilariously Woo Kim So Hyun While Filming “The Tale Of Nokdu”

KBS’s “The Tale of Nokdu” has released a new making-of video!

The video begins with Kang Tae Oh and Kim So Hyun practicing for a romantic scene. However, when Kang Tae Oh says his lines, the director asks, “Are you going to make Yul Moo (Kang Tae Oh) that cheesy?” prompting Kang Tae Oh to respond, “Oh, it was cheesy? I’ll make it sweet.” The director also criticizes his cooking skills, pointing out that he used too much stuffing in his dumpling. Kim So Hyun shows off her dumplings that look much nicer than Kang Tae Oh’s, but she also comforts him, remarking, “Since a handsome cook from the Joseon dynasty made it, I should eat it deliciously.”

Meanwhile, Jang Dong Yoon shares that he’s not concerned about the romance between Yul Moo and Dong Joo (Kim So Hyun), confidently saying, “Dong Joo is mine anyway.” Then while filming outside in the cold together, Jang Dong Yoon makes a big show of giving up his jacket for Kim So Hyun.

When Kim So Hyun makes fun of Jang Dong Yoon’s character Jeon Nok Du for getting defensive about not having dated anyone in the past, Jang Dong Yoon says, “Dong Joo is teasing [me] a lot today. However, since I’m so generous, I’ll hold back.”

Finally, while filming the scene in which Dong Joo walks away from Nok Du, Jang Dong Yoon’s dress unintentionally slips down, making the set burst into laughter. Confused, Kim So Hyun asks, “Did his clothes come down? It’s a relief I was the only one who didn’t see it.” The director jokingly comments, “Did you do that on purpose in order to woo Dong Joo?”

“The Tale of Nokdu” airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 p.m. KST. Watch the full making-of video below!
