Watch: N.Flying's Yoo Hwe Seung Touches Hearts In "Immortal Songs" With Song About Sacrifice Of Mothers

The October 26 broadcast of “Immortal Songs” featured Insooni as the legendary artist, and showcased performances from Kim Kyung Ho, N.Flying’s Yoo Hwe Seung, EXID’s Solji, Huh Gak, and more.

After being crowned as the ultimate winner of the last episode, Yoo Hwe Seung gained the title of the “2019 Super Rookie.” Other singers who were named as super rookies in the show include Ali, Jung Dong Ha, and Hwang Chi Yeol. When asked about the title and winning the show on only his fourth appearance, Yoo Hwe Seung said, “I couldn’t believe it even when I was receiving the trophy.”

For the latest episode, Yoo Hwe Seung prepared a cover of Insooni’s “Mother.” The singer shared, “When I was interpreting the lyrics, it was hard for me to get the true meaning of it, so I incorporated a poem into it. The poem is called ‘I thought it was okay for mothers to do that.’ The poem is about how mothers are alike across generations. I would be thankful if everyone can feel my sincerity as they hear my song while thinking about their mothers who may be in their heart, next to them, or at home.”

Yoo Hwe Seung then put on a heartfelt performance of “Mother,” touching hearts of the audience while singing about the sacrifice of mothers with his calm and sweet voice.
