3 Unexpected Pairs Showing Great Chemistry In “Melting Me Softly”
The adorable chemistry between the actors of “Melting Me Softly” is gathering the attention of viewers!
Ji Chang Wook and Oh Ah Rin
Ma Dong Chan (played by Ji Chang Wook) is quickly adapting to year 2019 after 20 years of being frozen in an experiment gone wrong. The biggest contributor to his adaptation process has been none other than his niece Ma Seo Yoon (played by Oh Ah Rin) who’s an elementary school student. In contrast to her baby face, this youngster has years of life lessons under her belt from watching soap operas and has turned into Ma Dong Chan’s counselor with her amazing conversation skills.
Although she makes people laugh with her mature way of speaking, there’s truth to her words. When Ma Dong Chan said, “Work hard to get a score of 100 from here on out,” after she got a 70 on a dictation test, Ma Seo Yoon replied, “It’s okay. I can just live a happier life than a kid who gets 100.”
She also gave a witty answer when Ma Dong Chan asked her what it means to flirt by saying, “Flirting is what Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs do.” Ma Dong Chan looks at his niece with endearing eyes and shows off his lovable appearance as an uncle.
Im Won Hee and Jung Hae Kyun
Son Hyun Ki (played by Im Won Hee) and Kim Hong Seok (played by Jung Hae Kyun) had become a close duo by the time Ma Dong Chan returned in the year 2019. Although they’re high up in the broadcasting network as director and president, they can’t help but get small in front of Ma Dong Chan because of their guilt of having covered up Ma Dong Chan’s missing status 20 years ago. When Ma Dong Chan confessed that he was a “frozen man,” Kim Hong Seok attempted to ride his coattail once again, earning him an earful from Son Hyun Ki. Although they’re always bickering, their chemistry fills the screen to the point where Ma Dong Chan asked the pair, “Are you two dating?”
Seo Hyun Chul and Yoon Na Moo
The totally unexpected pairing bringing laughter to viewers is none other than Professor Hwang Kap Soo (played by Seo Hyun Chul) and Go Mi Ran’s younger brother Go Nam Tae (played by Yoon Na Moo). Professor Hwang lost all of his memory about the freezing human experiment and is hiding from a mysterious man (played by Kim Bup Rae) at Go Mi Ran’s home.
He’s rooming with Go Mi Ran’s ill younger brother Go Nam Tae in the meantime. Although the younger man has suffered some sleepless nights due to Professor Hwang’s snoring, Go Nam Tae has quickly adjusted to this and no longer has trouble falling asleep. When Professor Hwang started sleepwalking in the middle of the night and took out all of the frozen food in the freezer, Go Nam Tae thought of the ingenious idea to tie the professor’s ankle to his own.
The duo also had a touching moment when Professor Hwang said, “I hope that I was someone who researched freezing in order to help cure a sick person like you,” and Go Nam Tae replied, “I’m sure you did. You have a beautiful heart.”
