Moon Geun Young And Kim Seon Ho Bring On The Comedy In "Catch The Ghost"

“Catch the Ghost” just premiered last week with promising ratings, but it has already delivered fresh laughter to viewers with the actors’ comedic acting!

“Catch the Ghost” is about a police squad that guards the subway and tries to hunt down an infamous serial killer known as “The Ghost.” Moon Geun Young plays passionate rookie officer named Yoo Ryung, whose personality differs greatly from that of her poised superior Go Ji Seok (Kim Seon Ho), who does everything by the book.

1. Epic first meeting

Yoo Ryung has an unfortunate but hilarious first encounter with her future boss Go Ji Seok. She pretends to be drunk in order to catch a criminal to bring to her interview for the job as a subway cop, but she accidentally tackles Go Ji Seok, who was hiding out to catch “The Ghost.” She leaves Go Ji Seok handcuffed to a rail inside the train, and he attempts to stop her by informing her this is the last train. However, she runs off to catch the real thief, and after numerous attempts to free himself, Go Ji Seok ends up helpless and alone.

2. Don’t cross the line!

After the job interview, Yoo Ryung becomes the target of a spy camera. Her photos are spread online, and she unexpectedly teams up with Go Ji Seok to find the culprits. Despite the emergency situation, Go Ji Seok demands Yoo Ryung stick to the speed limit, and when Yoo Ryung brakes on a red light and their pink motor scooter crosses the traffic line, he orders her to back up.

3. A superior’s plea

Go Ji Seok starts to keep a close eye on Yoo Ryung after he catches her opening a forbidden screen door. During her stakeout, she goes after a suspicious-looking backpacker who turns out to be an undercover detective searching for a sexual molester. Yoo Ryung vows to do a better job, but Go Ji Seok pleads, “Don’t work hard. Please don’t.”

4. A romantic spin

In episode two, Yoo Ryung and Go Ji Seok are on the hunt for drug dealers. Yoo Ryung manages to infiltrate the drug dealers’ room at a club and steal their drugs. She tosses the evidence to Go Ji Seok, who runs for his life, but ends up getting stuck at a dead end. However, Yoo Ryung saves the day by appearing with a fire hose. She ends up slipping backwards, but Go Ji Seok saves her by giving her an unexpected back hug.

The water cannon moment was both hilarious and romantic, and it proved that Moon Geun Young and Kim Seon Ho are a great duo who are capable of showcasing comedy, romance, and excitement.
