Ji Soo Confirmed To Star In New Drama Based On Webtoon

Ji Soo will be returning with a new drama!

On October 31, it was reported that Ji Soo had been tapped to play the leading role in a new drama based on the webtoon “AMANZA.”

A source from his agency Prain TPC confirmed the news and stated, “It’s true that Ji Soo has been cast for ‘AMANZA.’ Filming has not started yet.”

“AMANZA” is based on the webtoon by Kim Bo Tong and tells the story of a 26-year-old individual who is diagnosed with terminal cancer. This will be the first digital short-form project helmed by Kakao M, and their hopes is to produce more dramas after “AMANZA.”

Ji Soo has appeared in dramas like “Angry Mom,” “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo,” “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon,” and “Bad Guys 2.” He has also appeared in the two seasons of Netflix’s 2019 drama “My First First Love,” and it will be interesting to see what his next role will be like.
