Watch: Ha Ji Won And Yoon Kye Sang Open Up To Each Other In 1st Teaser For New Drama "Chocolate"

JTBC’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama “Chocolate” starring Ha Ji Won and Yoon Kye Sang has released its first teaser video!

“Chocolate” will be a melodrama that tells the story of cold-hearted neurosurgeon Lee Kang (Yoon Kye Sang) and compassionate and warm chef Moon Cha Young (Ha Ji Won) reuniting at a hospice and learning to heal each other’s scars and pains through food. Anticipation is high for the drama, not only because of the two leading actors, but also because it will bring together director Lee Hyung Min and screenwriter Lee Kyung Hee for the first time since 2004’s “I’m Sorry, I Love You.”

The teaser video begins with tears shed by Lee Kang and Moon Cha Young. She says, “When I’m overcome with so much pain that I can’t breathe, I eat chocolate,” while he says, “I liked chocolate when I was little but one day, I stopped eating it.” Their words seem to reflect past pains that are embedded in them, eliciting curiosity to know their stories. There is a melancholy aura to the teaser as the pair sit on a bridge and share bottles of soju together.

“Chocolate” is set to premiere on November 29 at 10:50 p.m. KST.
