Lee Kyu Hyung In Talks For New tvN Drama Along With Kim Tae Hee

Lee Kyu Hyung and Kim Tae Hee might work together in a new drama!

On November 4, news outlet Ilgan Sports reported that Lee Kyu Hyung has been chosen as the male lead for tvN’s upcoming drama “Hello, Mom” (tentative title), which is set to premiere next February.

“Hello, Mom” tells the story of a mother who died and begins a 49-day long project of reincarnation, and a husband who has barely begun to live a new life after overcoming the pain of losing his wife. It was previously announced that Kim Tae Hee received an offer to star in the drama as the female lead.

According to the report, Lee Kyu Hyung received an offer to play the skilled thoracic surgeon Jo Kang Hwa. After losing his wife four years ago, he had been working as a single father until he got married again two years ago. While he seems like a caring person, he does not offer a hand nor intervene when needed.

In response, a representative of the actor stated, “Lee Kyu Hyung received an offer for tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Hello, Mom’ to star as the male lead, and he is positively considering the offer.”

“Hello, Mom” will be written by Kwon Hye Ju of “Go Back Couple” and directed by Yoo Jae Won of “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes.” It is scheduled to premiere following the end of “Crashing Landing on You,” tvN’s upcoming drama that stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin.
