Park Hyung Sik Gets A Visit From “Juror 8” Cast In The Military
On November 11, Lee Young Jin posted on Instagram with a photo of herself with Park Hyung Sik as well as shots of herself wearing his military hat and jacket, as well as rocking his sunglasses.
She wrote in the caption, “Congratulations on your Best New Actor award from the Korean Association Of Film Critics Awards” with lots of celebratory emojis. She added, “So take off that cool hat. What?! Your jacket is warm? Take that off too. What?! Don’t just stand there, give me your sunglasses.”
She also shared more photos of the cast and crew during their fun trip to visit Park Hyung Sik.
Park Hyung Sik enlisted for his mandatory military service on June 10, and he is now serving as an active duty soldier in the military police department of the Capital Defense Command.
The May 2019 film “Juror 8” is based on a true story about Korea’s first criminal trial by jury in 2008, in which one of the jurors (played by Park Hyung Sik) questioned the defendant’s admission of guilt in a murder case and set out to prove his doubts.
