Read the full statement below.

Hello.

This is IU’s agency, Kakao M.

We would like to clarify the truth about the release of an invitation ticket that occurred today for our agency artist IU’s concert.

Our agency offers invitation tickets to executive-level employees for their viewing purposes. It has been confirmed that the invitation ticket to IU’s concert that was posted for sale on a ticketing site today was being sold by an outside acquaintance who personally received the ticket from a Kakao M employee. We deeply apologize that we could not prevent this invitation ticket being sold for commercial use due to our carelessness.

In regards to IU’s concert and fan meeting tickets, if any fraudulent transactions are found, we will respond with firm action, such as permanent expulsion from the fan club. We will work to ensure that no illegal ticket transactions occur in the future while simultaneously investigating situations where fans were wrongly expelled from the fan club in the past due to administrative issues, among others. We will quickly finish these reviews and report back as soon as possible.

Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused to fans.
