"VIP" Continues To Top Monday-Tuesday Dramas Despite Stiff Competition
SBS’s “VIP” continues to lead among Monday-Tuesday dramas despite a decrease in ratings!
According to Nielsen Korea, the November 18 broadcast of “VIP” recorded 5.9 and 7.8 percent in nationwide viewership ratings. This is a significant drop from the viewership ratings of their previous episode, which recorded 9.1 percent, but the drop in ratings may have resulted from last week’s broadcast being canceled due to SBS’s coverage of the 2019 WBSC Premier12.
Furthermore, the upcoming November 19 broadcast of “VIP” will be airing an hour earlier at 9 p.m. KST due to the live broadcast of a soccer game starting at 10:15 p.m. KST.
Meanwhile, KBS’s “The Tale of Nokdu” trailed close behind in viewership ratings with 5.6 percent and 6.5 percent. JTBC’s “Chief of Staff” recorded 3.5 percent in viewership ratings, while tvN’s “Catch the Ghost” achieved 2.4 percent.
