"Pegasus Market" To Launch Spin-Off Series Starring Lee Dong Hwi And More

tvN’s “Pegasus Market” will be getting a spin-off!

On November 19, media outlet Sports Donga reported that the currently airing Friday drama about employees at a falling-behind store will be getting a spin-off web series titled “Vroom Vroom Pegasus Market” (literal title) hosted online on tvN D.

The same day, a source from tvN confirmed to Star News, “‘Pegasus Market’ will be getting a spin-off version. Lee Dong Hwi, Choi Kwang Je, and Kang Hong Seok have been set to star. The other actors have not yet been confirmed to join.”

“Vroom Vroom Pegasus Market” is reported to follow Moon Seok Goo (played by Lee Dong Hwi), Oh In Bae (played by Kang Hong Seok), and Pielleggu (played by Choi Kwang Je) as they band together to steal trade secrets from DM Group’s competitor.

The series will be released on tvN D’s YouTube channel in mid-December.

Meanwhile, “Pegasus Market” has been drawing stable viewership ratings week by week amid despite competition in its time slot. The drama airs every Friday at 11 p.m. KST with three episodes remaining until its finale.
