V.O.S's Choi Hyun Joon And Wife Welcome Second Child + Open Up About Difficulties Getting Pregnant
V.O.S’s Choi Hyun Joon is a proud father of two children!
On November 22, the singer shared the photos of his newborn daughter and his wife Shin So Yi on Instagram.
Choi Hyun Joon began his caption with each of his family member’s names as hashtags including his son Choi Yoon Woo and daughter Choi Yoon Sol.
He wrote, “November 22, 2019. 5:29 a.m. Our second child and beautiful princess, who we sincerely and excitedly waited for, was born healthily and beautifully. To my loving wife and treasure who suffered a lot for a long time, I’m so proud of you and I love you. I’ll love you the most and will protect you until the end. My ladies. (Yoon Woo, I’ll buy you the ‘Butt Detective’ book. I love you.)”
Shin So Yi also posted a photo welcoming her daughter and added that she’s capable of having a third child.
Choi Hyun Joon and Shin So Yi got married in 2014. The couple previously shared their pregnancy news in March where they revealed that they had finally succeeded thanks to in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
In an interview with Newsen, Choi Hyun Joon said, “We suffered a lot because we didn’t get pregnant with our second child for two years. We gathered the courage to try IVF and it miraculously succeeded. Because we had our second child after a difficult time, everything felt new and exciting. Today is a day I earnestly waited for, so I burst into tears when the baby came. I’m happy.”
Choi Hyun Joon decided on the name Choi Yoon Sol for his daughter early on. He explained, “My firstborn Yoon Woo, who’s the most precious after my wife, one day said, ‘Mom and dad, how about Yoon Sol for my younger sibling’s name? It was a name he thought of after repeatedly saying the names of his mom and dad. We felt so proud and thankful for our son that we became teary. We then decided on Choi Yoon Sol without any worries.”
In September, V.O.S released their single “Again” which entered music charts upon its release and still remains on it today. The group will release a new track on December 2 and plans to actively promote in the future.
