Oh My Girl's Hyojung Shares Her Fangirl Love For Red Velvet

Oh My Girl’s Hyojung recently took to social media to share her love for Red Velvet!

On December 6, she shared a post on Oh My Girl’s official Twitter account with photos taken backstage at Red Velvet’s concert. In the caption, she wrote, “I made some unforgettable memories at Red Velvet’s concert. They were so cool and beautiful! It was the best. I love you!”

In a V Live broadcast the day before, Hyojung said, “Seulgi is my friend, but I really like Joy.” She referred to Joy as Joy-nim, a common honorific in South Korea. “She put her hand on my shoulder – you know she’s a lot taller than me, right? So she put her hand on my shoulder and we took a photo. I really, really, really like her. This is my first time saying that I like her, but I’ve been her fan since ‘Happiness.’ If she sees this, she’ll probably feel pressured [laughs]. This is just my inner fangirl coming out.”

Red Velvet held their third solo concert in Seoul, “La Rouge,” from November 23 to 24. They are currently preparing for a Japan arena tour beginning in January 2020.
