MONSTA X’s Joohoney will be resuming his activities with the group!

Starship Entertainment released the following statement in Korean and English:

Hello, this is Starship Entertainment.

We are making an announcement regarding MONSTA X member Joohoney’s participation in the Jingle Ball tour.

MONSTA X’s Joohoney has been informed by a doctor that he has recovered his health through sufficient rest and stability and that he will have no problem participating in the scheduled activities.

Because Joohoney is also hoping to perform on stage with his members and keep his promise with fans, after discussion, we have decided that he will join the tour starting with the concert in Philadelphia.

We will carefully check the health statuses of the MONSTA X members including Joohoney’s and do our best to take care of our artists while carrying out the upcoming scheduled activities.

Once again, we apologize to fans for causing them concern, and we ask you to send the MONSTA X members lots of support so they can successfully wrap up the remaining dates of the Jingle Ball tour.

On December 9, a source from Starship Entertainment shared an update on MONSTA X member Joohoney’s state of health.

The source stated to TV Report, “Joohoney’s condition has improved, but we will decide whether or not he will participate in the performances after monitoring his state a bit more.”

Starship Entertainment has released a statement regarding MONSTA X’s Joohoney‘s participation in iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball concert tour.

On December 7 KST, the agency announced that after experiencing “sudden dizziness and an extreme worsening of his condition,” Joohoney had gone to the hospital the day prior instead of flying to the United States with his bandmates.

MONSTA X is currently slated to perform at the B96 Pepsi Jingle Bash in Rosemont, Illinois on December 7 local time, as well as Jingle Ball’s Minneapolis concert (December 9), Philadelphia concert (December 11), and New York concert (December 13). According to Starship Entertainment, even though Joohoney hopes to participate in the tour, it may not be possible due to the state of his health.

We are making an announcement regarding MONSTA X member Joohoney’s participation in the Jingle Ball tour.

After boarding an airplane to travel to the United States for the Jingle Ball tour on December 6 (Korean time), MONSTA X’s Joohoney reported experiencing sudden dizziness and an extreme worsening of his condition while waiting for the plane to take off. He was promptly moved to a hospital, where he received medical examination and treatment.

Joohoney is currently in better condition after resting, and Joohoney personally hopes to participate in the tour as scheduled in order to keep his promise to his fans. However, we have determined that he is in need of stability and rest.

Accordingly, we will make a statement later on regarding the possibility of Joohoney’s participation in the Jingle Ball tour.

We sincerely apologize for causing concern to the many fans who have been looking forward to and waiting for MONSTA X’s [performances at the] Jingle Ball tour. We will do everything we can to protect our artists so that the MONSTA X members can go about their activities in good health.
