MONSTA X’s Minhyuk and NCT’s Jaehyun shared a heartwarming reunion in Chicago!

On December 7 local time, both MONSTA X and NCT 127 performed at the B96 Pepsi Jingle Bash at Rosemont’s Allstate Arena in Illinois. The two groups took the stage alongside a lineup of performers that included American artists Katy Perry, Camila Cabello, Marshmello, Normani, Lil Tecca, and AJ MItchell.

After the show, both Minhyuk and Jaehyun took to Twitter to share footage of themselves meeting up backstage. The two idols are currently co-hosts of SBS’s “Inkigayo,” but due to their engagements abroad, they were both unable to appear on the December 8 episode of the music show.

Jaehyun posted two photos of himself posing with his “Inkigayo” co-host and added a Korean play on words in the caption, writing, “Even in Chicago, where do you go? Inkigayo.”

Meanwhile, Minhyuk shared a short video clip of the two idols jokingly pretending to host “Inkigayo” on their day off. Jaehyun asks, “Where do you go on Sundays?” and Minhyuk responds, “Live, it’s SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’!”

Minhyuk wrote in the caption, “‘Inkigayo’ family reunion in the United States.”
