MAP6 Announces Military Enlistment Of 4 Out Of 5 Members + Agency Says Group Is Not Disbanding

MAP6 will be reportedly taking a break from group promotions to fulfill their military duties.

On December 10, SPOTV News reported that MAP6 is going on hiatus after four years of group promotions.

A source from the agency told SPOTV News, “Four out of five members are planning to enlist in the beginning half of next year, so we halted activities. This is not a group disbandment.”

MAP6 held a concert and fan meeting in Japan on November 30 and December 1 where the members expressed gratitude for their fans’ support.

MAP6 is a five-member boy group that gained attention as “Girl’s Day’s sibling group.” After debuting with the 2015 single “Storm,” MAP6 released many songs including “Swagger Time,” “I’m Ready,” “Love Is Gone,” and “Follow Me.” They recently focused on overseas promotions by holding concerts and appearing on a reality show in Japan.
