Style Inspo: The Best Airport Fashion Of 2019
For us, airports are basically a commuting spot, but once idols set foot in one, they can truly turn into runways in the blink of an eye. With simple-comfy to extravagant looks, K-pop idols managed to stand out from the crowd this year by wearing some of their favorite pieces before departing to new lands, and Idon’t know about you, but I’ve taken many of these looks as inspo throughout 2019. As the year comes to an end, we throw it back to highlight some of the outfits we won’t be able to forget anytime soon, and while our actual faves list would include 1000+ contenders, these are (some of) our absolute favorite airport looks of 2019.
Simple yet groundbreaking
Sometimes less is more, and idols know it. From monochromes to simple lines, minimal prints and comfy sets, this year was an ode to dressing simple and comfortable while breaking fashion paradigms. A hint on how they take it from street to runway? It’s all in the accessories.
This year, matching the bottom and top parts of an outfit became a must for all fashion lovers. Sets are in, and idols followed the trend religiously, coming up with the most simple, one-color ones to multi-dynamic outfits.
High fashion but make it Street
Haute Couture is not meant only for red carpets anymore. The urban-comfy-plus-luxury-items mix is an idol’s favorite, and they showed it throughout this year by pairing their everyday looks with iconic logos and designs from some of the most renowned fashion designers in the world.
