Park Ha Sun Confirmed To Star In New Movie

Park Ha Sun will soon be returning to the big screen!

On December 13, her agency KeyEast Entertainment shared that Park Ha Sun has been cast to play the lead role in a movie titled “The First Child” (literal translation). She will be returning to the big screen for the first time in two years since her role as a policeman in the 2017 film “Midnight Runners.”

The upcoming movie “The First Child” tells the story of Lee Jung Ah (Park Ha Sun) who returns to work after a year of parental leave after giving birth. Lee Jung Ah is an ordinary South Korean woman in her 30s who is the wife of Park Woo Suk (Oh Dong Min), a clothing company agent and office worker, and the mother of Park Seo Yoon, a 14-month-old baby. After her reinstatement, she feels confused in the face of harsh reality and is weighed down by the responsibility of her child because she wants to do well at both work and home.

Park Ha Sun’s last drama was “Love Affairs in the Afternoon,” and viewers are looking forward to her portrayal of the life and sorrow of working women who change after giving birth.

“The First Child” will be released in the second half of 2020.
