IU, Baek Yerin, Stray Kids, And Park Ji Hoon Top Weekly Gaon Charts

On December 19, Gaon Chart revealed its weekly rankings for the week of December 8-14.

This week’s charts feature the entrance of new releases from Baek Yerin, Sung Si Kyung and IU, Kim Jae Hwan, and Stray Kids along with various previous releases maintaining strength.

Check out the top five of each of the major charts below:

Digital Chart and Streaming Chart

IU’s “Blueming” topped the overall digital chart and streaming chart for the fourth consecutive week. Baek Yerin’s “Square (2017)” made a strong entrance at No. 2 and No. 3 on the digital chart and streaming chart, respectively, while Sung Si Kyung and IU’s duet “First Winter” entered at No. 3 on the digital chart. Noel’s “Late Night” took No. 4 on the digital chart and No. 2 on the streaming chart, and Davichi’s “Dear.” is No. 5 on the digital chart and No. 4 on the streaming chart. “Into the Unknown” from “Frozen 2” placed No. 5 on the streaming chart.

New releases showed strength on the download chart with “Square (2017)” at No. 1, “First Winter” at No. 2, and Kim Jae Hwan’s “The Time I Need” at No. 4. Jung Seung Hwan’s “My Christmas wish” rose to No. 3, and “Dear.” took No. 5.

Album Chart

Stray Kids’ new album “Clé : LEVANTER” topped the album chart recording physical album shipments, while Kim Jae Hwan’s “MOMENT” entered at No. 2. EXO’s “OBSESSION,” Park Ji Hoon’s “360,” and CIX’s “‘HELLO’ Chapter 2. Hello, Strange Place” round up the top five.

Social Chart

Park Ji Hoon rose to No. 1 on Gaon’s “Social Chart 2.0,” while BTS maintained their spot at No. 2. Kang Daniel placed No. 3, and Stray Kids rose to No. 4. EXO took No. 5 on this week’s chart.
