Watch: Jun So Min And Song Jae Rim Are Utterly Incompatible In Highlight Clip For Upcoming Rom-Com

tvN has released a new highlight video for its upcoming drama special “Big Data Dating”!

“Big Data Dating” is a romantic comedy that will tell the story of genius app developer Kim Seo Joon (played by Song Jae Rim), who has blind faith in big data. He falls in love with a romantic woman named Ahn Bit Na (played by Jun So Min), despite big data showing that they’re not compatible. The drama will explore the battle between the digital versus the analog and ask the question, “What will happen if big data controls our romantic relationships as well?”

In the video, Kim Seo Joon introduces his dating app at a company event and earns the trust of potential users as he vows to use the app himself. Ahn Bit Na is skeptical, but she eventually finds herself sitting in front of Kim Seo Joon at a cafe.

Kim Seo Joon confidently asks, “You want to drink lemon tea, right?” but Ahn Bit Na answers, “Actually, I want coffee.” He immediately looks back at his app but finds that his interests section includes things he is definitely not interested in, such as, “Basketball, horror, and gopchang [grilled small intestines].” He immediately calls his business partner and screams, “What’s going on? It says I’m a gopchang-crazy person!” Later, Ahn Bit Na is surprised once again when she sees Kim Seo Joon struggling to ride his bike.

Because the app developers have reporters trailing their every move, Kim Seo Joon’s business partner insists that they go on dates that correspond to the big data. Kim Seo Joon questions, “So you want me going on fake dates?” Despite this, Kim Seo Joon and Ahn Bit Na have fun as they spend more time together, and they eventually kiss as she says, “I want a relationship where everything is black and white, but I see just one person in color.”
