EXO's Chanyeol Makes Jang Sung Kyu Giddy By Surprising Him With EXO Concert Tickets
EXO’s Chanyeol just surprised Jang Sung Kyu with an unexpected invitation, and Jang Sung Kyu couldn’t be more excited!
On December 28, Jang Sung Kyu took to Instagram to giddily share that Chanyeol had invited him to EXO’s upcoming concert in Seoul. The former announcer posted a screenshot of the following text message conversation (the parts circled and underlined by Jang Sung Kyu are bolded):
“My Chanyeol”: Hyung, by any chance
“My Chanyeol”: If you’re free, would you be able to come see our concert on the 29th, 30th, or 31st?Jang Sung Kyu: Whoa, even though there must not be any seats left!!
Jang Sung Kyu: Thank you TT I’ll go no matter what. By any chance, I’ll request the 30th [sic]!!“My Chanyeol”: Would two tickets for the 30th be okay!?
Jang Sung Kyu: Yes, thank you, thank you!
Jang Sung Kyu went on to enthuse in the caption, “Chanyeol is not a human, but an angel,” before playfully adding the hashtags “Chanyeol angel rumor” and “Chan-gel.”
After accidentally running into Suho at a gas station last month, Jang Sung Kyu recently filmed an upcoming broadcast of his YouTube channel Workman in which he takes on the job of being EXO’s manager for one day.
Although the broadcast has not yet aired, the star referenced their time together in the caption by writing, “To think that Chanyeol is taking such good care of his lowest-ranking manager, who’s not even good at his job. TT”
Jang Sung Kyu then self-deprecatingly explained the underlined part of his text message conversation, writing, “In my haste to reply, I meant to ask ‘By any chance, would the 30th be possible?’ and accidentally wrote, ‘By any chance, I’ll request the 30th,’ what is this. So embarrassing.”
Finally, he ended by writing in the hashtags, “EXO,” “EXO-L,” “See you on the 30th.”
EXO will be holding their encore concert “EXO PLANET #5 – EXplOration [dot] –” from December 29 to 31 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul’s Olympic Park.
