Watch: Kang Tae Oh Cracks Up “Running Man” Cast With His Unexpectedly Hilarious Dancing
The actor appeared as a guest on the December 29 episode of the SBS variety show, where Yoo Jae Suk brought up the fact that Kang Tae Oh had taken dance classes in the past. Kang Tae Oh replied nervously, “I did learn to dance a little, but I’m not good at it. I can’t dance like idols or anything like that.”
Undeterred, Yoo Jae Suk insisted that he show off some of his moves on the spot, encouraging him to freestyle. “You can dance however you feel like,” he told the actor, as the production staff began to play Orange Caramel’s “Catallena.”
As soon as Kang Tae Oh began grooving to the music, HaHa laughed in amusement, “His facial expression is so serious!” However, the cast members and guests were still unprepared for what came next: a hilarious series of isolation moves that ended up with the actor nearly on the floor.
The entire room immediately burst into laughter, and a delighted Yoo Jae Suk tried to imitate the move as he exclaimed, “Tae Oh, this is great! If we were back on the old show ‘X-Man,’ we would keep doing this move for two months!”
He then urged Kang Tae Oh to dance the same moves to a different song, and the actor obliged to the tune of SISTAR’s “Touch My Body.”
After his second performance, Jun So Min praised Kang Tae Oh by commenting, “This guy’s cool! He’s a good dancer!” and Ji Suk Jin jokingly observed, “So Min is now starting to become interested in him.”
