Yoo Jae Suk Donates Coal Briquettes To Low-Income Families For 7th Consecutive Year

It has been belatedly revealed that Yoo Jae Suk has continued his donations of coal briquettes for those in need for the seventh consecutive year.

On December 30, reports emerged that Yoo Jae Suk had carried on the tradition this year and the charity organization Coal Bank confirmed, “It’s true that Yoo Jae Suk made a donation for coal briquettes. He donated 50 million won (approximately $43,300) in September.” His donation will help provide 62,500 briquettes for 416 low-income households this winter.

They continued to explain, “Yoo Jae Suk has been donating to our organization every year since 2013 when we met for MBC’s ‘Infinite Challenge.’ In total, he has donated 430 million won (approximately $372,300), which equates to 715,520 coal briquettes. It’s enough to sustain 4,843 homes.”

This year, Yoo Jae Suk also donated 50 million won to help victims of the Gangwon Province wildfires in April, and 50 million won to help those affected by Typhoon Mitag in October.
