Pledis Entertainment Denies Reports That fromis_9 Has Joined Their Agency

Pledis Entertainment has denied reports that fromis_9 has signed an exclusive contract with them.

On December 31, Newspim released an exclusive report claiming that fromis_9’s contract with Off The Record Entertainment, a subsidiary label of CJ ENM, had been transferred to Pledis Entertainment. The report claimed that Pledis Entertainment CEO Han Sung Soo, who had worked as the producer of the group, had played a major role in the transfer, and fromis_9 would henceforth be promoting as Pledis artists.

Pledis Entertainment has since denied the report as a source from the agency stated, “The report that we have signed an exclusive contract with fromis_9 is a false report. It is completely untrue.”

fromis_9 is the project group that debuted through Mnet’s “Idol School” in 2017 and is currently promoting under Off The Record Entertainment.
