Heo Ji Woong Shares Story About How Yoo Jae Suk Helped Him During Cancer Treatment

On the January 2 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “Happy Together,” Heo Ji Woong talked about how Yoo Jae Suk’s simple texts were an incredible source of strength during his cancer treatment.

He talked about the difficulties of undergoing chemotherapy and said, “If it weren’t for the people that supported me, I don’t think I would’ve been able to get through it.”

Heo Ji Woong said, “Yoo Jae Suk texted me a couple of times starting from when I first got sick. And it wasn’t anything special, just everyday talk and well wishes.”

Yoo Jae Suk said, “And Heo Ji Woong just sent a simple response, as well, saying thank you and that treatment is hard.”

Heo Ji Woong revealed that the day he got the texts from Yoo Jae Suk was when he hit rock bottom. “I hit rock bottom, and I was just spaced out, but when I got those texts, it made me feel like a normal person. It made me feel so much better. I was full of thoughts that I was no longer a part of this world, but I got the texts and just thought, ‘I should shower and sleep.’ And I slept well. Yoo Jae Suk must have psychic ability.”
