Actress Han Da Gam Ties The Knot + Talks About Plans For Honeymoon And Children Amidst Filming For "Touch"

Actress Han Da Gam has gotten married!

On January 5, Han Da Gam held a press conference for her wedding at the Signiel Seoul Hotel in Lotte Tower. She will be getting wed to her businessman husband-to-be who is one year older than her later today. The couple will be tying the knot after having dated for one year.

In consideration for the non-celebrity husband, the wedding was held in private with only the parents, family, and friends of the bride and groom. The officiant and person singing the celebratory song were the husband’s close acquaintances, while the bouquet was caught by Han Da Gam’s best friend.

Han Da Gam shared, “[My fiancé] is someone I was already acquainted with, and it’s been over a year since we started dating. It’s easy for me to talk to him. He also has many points I’m lacking in. He’s someone who can supplement my shortcomings, and he also has a very warm heart.”

She continued, “It’s true that a real connection is like destiny. I always spent a lot of time alone, and just when I thought it would be nice to have someone nice, he was coincidentally by my side. I thought that it would be nice to form a good connection while there was someone good, so I came to decide on marriage.” She added, “Momentarily, a light came from behind him. I didn’t want to lose him.”

Han Da Gam also revealed that she had received a proposal event five days prior to the wedding date. (In Korea, couples usually agree to get married first, and then a possible proposal event comes afterwards.) She explained, “I didn’t think I would receive one, and he proposed during a time I wasn’t expecting it. He [proposed] in a similar way as other people do.” The actress also shared that she calls her fiancé oppa, while he calls her by her name.

As Han Da Gam is currently filming for Channel A’s “Touch,” she revealed that the couple would be pushing back plans for their honeymoon as well as plans for having children until the future. She shared, “Since I’m currently in the middle of filming, we have no plans yet. [As for having children], we will slowly think it over after finishing the drama. There still isn’t anything decided for our honeymoon. I think we’ll be able to go after finishing filming.”

Finally, Han Da Gam shared, “I’m grateful as there were many people who sent me support and congratulated me. I will continue to promote as an actress. Nothing big has changed, and I’ll continue to do my best [in acting], and I’ll work hard on the drama I’m currently filming.”

After winning first place for the 1999 Miss World Queen University, Han Da Gam started acting through MBC’s “For Love.” (literal title). She also starred in the dramas “Successful Story of a Bright Girl,” “Full House,” “Grudge: The Revolt of Gumiho,” “Seoul 1945,” and “Iron Man,” as well as the films “The Divine Weapon” and “Ghastly.” Following her recent projects “Return,” and “Let Me Introduce Her,” she will be starring in Channel A’s “Touch.”
