Seungmin will be missing additional scheduled activities as he is currently recovering from the flu.

JYP Entertainment has now announced that Seungmin will not be present at the 9th Gaon Chart Music Awards on January 8 and the fan signing event on January 9.

On January 5, JYP Entertainment announced that Seungmin will be taking time off to recover from the flu.

Below is the full statement:

Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.

Stray Kids’ Seungmin has been diagnosed with type A flu, so he will not be able to attend the following activities:

– January 5 (Sunday) Solitary SKZ Room

– January 6 (Monday) 2020 Idol Star Athletics Championships – eSports

– January 7 (Tuesday) Fan signing event, Mwave “Meet & Greet”

Following the doctor’s diagnosis that he needs sufficient rest and stability, we have decided that he should not attend [the events] in consideration of his health.

We will do our best to make sure he recovers quickly.

We apologize for the sudden news, and we ask for your understanding.
