Watch: "Master In The House" Welcomes Shin Sung Rok As New Cast Member In Hilarious Preview

New year, new cast member on “Master in the House”!

On January 5, the SBS variety show released a preview of next week’s episode featuring Shin Sung Rok, its newest addition to the cast.

In the clip, Lee Seung Gi excitedly introduces Shin Sung Rok as a new “Shin-Sang-Seung-Hyung-Jae” member as the actor runs into the set wearing a superhero costume. Upon seeing his outfit, the other members praise Shin Sung Rok for being well-prepared for the job.

BTOB’s Yook Sungjae reads off a list of Shin Sung Rok’s hopes for “Master in the House,” including, “For the time being, let’s focus on me as a character.” Shin Sung Rok jokingly shouts, “What? I’m confident!”

Shin Sung Rok has the cast bursting with laughter from the get-go as he shows his passion for the job, and Yang Se Hyung jokingly remarks that “he’s totally crazy.” The members give him a warm welcome through various games, amping up the excitement for what the show will bring in 2020. Finally, the teaser concludes with a hint about the next legendary master who will test the cast’s teamwork.

Shin Sung Rok’s first “Master in the House” episode as a cast member will air on Sunday, January 12 at 6:25 p.m. KST. In the meantime, check out the teaser below!
