"The Return Of Superman" And "My Ugly Duckling" Are Neck-And-Neck In Fierce Battle For Sunday Variety Show Ratings
KBS’s “The Return of Superman” and SBS’s “My Ugly Duckling” are locked in a ratings battle that’s too close to call!
According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episodes of the two variety shows were tied at No. 1 for the most-watched variety show of Sunday night. The January 6 broadcast of “The Return of Superman” scored average nationwide ratings of 10.9 percent and 13.8 percent for its two parts, while “My Ugly Duckling” scored average ratings of 13.8 percent, 13.8 percent, and 11.6 percent on the same night.
KBS’s “2 Days & 1 Night Season 4” remained relatively strong with average ratings of 9.8 percent and 12.1 percent for the evening, while MBC’s “The King of Mask Singer” scored average ratings of 7.3 percent and 9.6 percent in an overlapping time slot. KBS’s “Boss in the Mirror” scored average ratings of 6.9 percent and 10.9 percent for the night.
SBS’s “Running Man” scored average ratings of 4.7 percent and 6.9 percent, while SBS’s “Master in the House” trailed close behind with ratings of 4.6 percent and 6.1 percent.
