Ahn Hyo Seop And Kim Min Jae Steal Hearts As The Handsome Duo In "Dr. Romantic 2"

SBS’s “Dr. Romantic 2” has released stills of Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Min Jae.

The second installment of “Dr. Romantic” tells the story of “real doctor” Kim Sa Bu (played by Han Suk Kyu), who works at the small, humble Dol Dam Hospital, and the people who meet him.

Ahn Hyo Seop plays Seo Woo Jin, a great surgeon who is a second-year fellow with a painful past and a dangerous amount of debt, while Kim Min Jae plays Park Eun Tak, a responsible, righteous, and warmhearted nurse.

In the newly released stills, Seo Woo Jin and Park Eun Tak are spotted revealing their honest thoughts about a certain topic to each other. Seo Woo Jin looks flustered and bewildered while Park Eun Tak pays attention to Seo Woo Jin’s words in a calm and focused way.

This scene was filmed on a set in Yongin of Gyeonggi Province last November. This was their first scene together without the other cast members, and they found a separate space on set to practice together while facing each other. When filming began, the two immersed into the scene where Kim Min Jae’s character gives gentle advice to Ahn Hyo Seop’s character as someone who came to Dol Dam Hospital earlier than he did.

On set, Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Min Jae showed off the extraordinary friendship they built even before their debut as actors. Viewers are looking forward to their chemistry and teamwork in the drama.

Production company Samhwa Networks commented, “The key is whether Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Min Jae will be able to pull off a unique bromance in ‘Dr. Romantic 2.’ Their close teamwork is starting to shine. The next episode of “Dr. Romantic 2” will air on January 13 at 9:40 p.m. KST.
